You may have heard concerns about a federal government shutdown.  The Oregon WIC Program wants you to know:

    - All Oregon WIC clinics are openfor business as usual.
    - WIC participants should use their eWIC card to continue to purchase healthy foods for their families.
    - WIC participants should attend all scheduled appointments.
    - WIC continues to enroll any eligible person interested in WIC services.
    - WIC authorized grocery stores, pharmacies and farmers should continue to accept eWIC.

We will keep you updated with any changes.

The Lane County WIC Program is a Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children.  WIC's goal is to  improve health outcomes and influence lifetime nutrition for families.  This is achieved through nutrition education, breastfeeding support, and with the provision of healthy foods.
