Road construction update: November 11

Road construction is scheduled for the week of November 11, weather permitting. Use caution in work zones and obey traffic control signage and flaggers. For real-time traffic impacts, go to TripCheck.com.

 

Hayden Bridge Way & Hayden Bridge Road (5th St. to 19th St.):  ADA and pedestrian signal upgrade work will occur at the following intersections: Hayden Bridge Road and Harvest Lane, Hayden Bridge Way and 5th Street, and Hayden Bridge Road and 19th Street.  Traffic is controlled by traffic control devices, signage and flaggers.  Trucks and workers will be in the road, so drivers should use caution and slow down through the work zones.

 

London Road (M.P. 3.52 to M.P. 6.76):  Roadway, bridge, utility and culvert work to occur along London Road in proximity to Cottage Grove Lake.  A bypass road regulated by portable traffic signals will be in effect near Cedar Creek Road.  Cottage Grove Reservoir Road is an alternate route around the work zones if needed.

 

Prairie Road (Maxwell Rd. to Carol Ave. - M.P. 0.00 to MP 1.85):  Roadway work to occur along Prairie Road from Maxwell Road to Carol Avenue. Trucks and workers will be in the road, so drivers should use caution and slow down through the work zones.  Drivers are advised to find alternative routes to avoid delays. 

 

Wolf Creek Road (M.P. 7.25 to M.P. 9.50) CLOSURE:  Slide repair work to occur at various locations along Wolf Creek Road between M.P. 7.25 to 9.50.  Road will be closed from October 15 through November 15.  Expect additional truck traffic along Wolf Creek between Territorial Highway and the road closure due to the project work.
