Florence Office

Lane County Land Management Division has opened a satellite office in Florence so that coastal residents have better access to planning and building staff.

The satellite office will be open on Thursdays from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. by appointment only.

The office is located in Florence City Hall (250 Highway 101).


Planning and building staff will alternate weeks. Planning staff will be available by appointment every other week and the same for building staff.

Planning staff can help answer questions about zoning, environmental features, coastal overlays, and the types of permits required before building begins.

Building staff can help answer questions about building codes and sanitation requirements.

People will also be able to submit building packets at the satellite office. Submitting a packet would require meeting with a planner first to have the site plan approved and them making a second appointment with building staff to submit the plans and approved site plan.
