Celebrations this month include Immigrant Heritage Month, Pride Month, Race Unity Day, Juneteenth, American with Disabilities Act Anniversary, and The Coquille Indian Tribe Restoration Day. Although these observations take place this month, we continue to raise awareness and advocate for the wellbeing of these communities throughout the year.

2024-2027 Equity Strategic Plan: The final version has been approved and will be adopted at the start of the 2024–2025 fiscal year.

Equity Program Advisory Board (EPAB): We are excited to share that we received 50+ applications from diverse community members across Lane County. With the assistance from staff members who participated in our scoring panel, we finalized our decision to narrow it down to 11 voting members and 2 alternate members. We will be notifying all applicants this month whether they are being invited to participate at this time. We are excited to get this group restarted and are considering some creative alternatives to keep the applicants informed and connected to our county’s equity work.
