Climate change is on the mind of our youngest citizens. A 2022 study collected attitudes about the climate crisis from 10,000 people around the world between 16-25 years. A few key takeaways include:

  • 59% of youth and young adults said they were very or extremely worried about climate change
  • More than 45% said their feelings about climate change negatively affected their daily life and functioning
  • In all countries surveyed, nearly 62% said they were anxious about climate change, and about 67% said they were sad and afraid.
