Our Mission

The mission of Mobile Crisis Services of Lane County (MCS-LC) is to provide equitable, person-centered crisis services. These services are delivered by qualified mental health professionals, with a focus on the dignity, safety, and well-being of each person served. We offer compassionate, trauma-informed care that respects each person's unique needs and work to remove barriers to accessing crisis services.

About Us

MCS-LC is a program of Lane County Behavioral Health, offering mobile crisis response within Lane County. Our services are part of the crisis care system, which includes crisis hotlines and other services. MCS-LC provides community-based response to deescalate and manage acute crises. We also offer follow-up care and coordination to ensure ongoing support. MCS-LC, and our partners, serve all youth and adults living in Lane County.

Services Provided

  • Crisis de-escalation and safety planning.
  • Access to certified mental health professionals.
  • Access to client focused resources.
  • Coordination with existing providers.
  • Provide direct referrals for behavioral health care.
  • Transportation coordination
  • Follow-up check within 72 hours of contact.
  • Naloxone administration (also known as Narcan)
