The Elected Officials Compensation Board recommends to the Budget Committee and to the Board of County Commissioners a compensation schedule for County elected officials. The Elected Officials Compensation Board is established pursuant to the authority granted by the Lane County Home Rule Charter (Lane Manual 3.705).

Elected Officials Salary Information

The Current Salary Amounts  for Elected Officials are as follows:

As of 7/6/2024
Assessor - $147,118.40
Commissioner - $87,869
District Attorney - $65,145.60 (County Contribution)
Justice of the Peace - $60,195.20 (@.5FTE)
Sheriff - $189,529.60

Effective January, 2025 the Commissioner annual salary will be: $114,026
