Our Forensics Program serves a unique population of individuals who have been diagnosed with a mental illness and who are currently involved in the Criminal Justice System.  The Forensic specialties are:


Forensic Outpatient Services
The Forensic Outpatient program may be available to those individuals who are in need of mental health treatment and who are currently on parole or probation, or who are involved with DHS or Municipal and/or Circuit Court. 


Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB)
PSRB is a supervised program that may be available to those individuals, through the criminal justice system, who have a persistent mental illness and has asserted the guilty except for insanity defense to a criminal charge.


Aid & Assist Program
The Aid & Assist program (ORS 161.370) may be available to those individuals, through the criminal justice system, who have a persistent mental illness and are determined to be in need of a fitness determination on competency to answer to their charges and aid in their defense.


Civil Commitment
Our Forensics Program also serves individuals who may be in need of involuntary treatment due to dangerousness to self and/or others. More info here.
