Public Records Request

It is the policy of Lane County that the public has a right to inspect any public record maintained by the County, consistent with the Oregon Public Records Law (ORS Chapter 192).   

The Public Records Officer resides in the Office of Legal Counsel and coordinates public records requests for the County.

To submit a request, please choose from the options below:

Option 1: Use the online Public Records Request Portal hosted by NextRequest 

Option 2: Download and print a PDF version of the records request form and mail the completed form to:

Please note that Lane County Public Records is not the custodian for the following types of records:

- Divorce Records
- Marriage Licenses
- Vital Records
- Police Reports
- Circuit Court Records
- Assessment & Taxation Records
- District Attorney Records
