Kennedy Middle School Emergency Water Station Demonstration

Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) and Eugene School District 4J are holding a ribbon cutting and demonstration event at a new Emergency Water Station site. The station is located at Kennedy Middle School in the northeast corner of the parking area.

Beat the Wave Disaster Preparedness Expo

A free, community-centered event that combines hands-on emergency preparedness workshops, expert resources, a fun run, and family-friendly activities to help residents get ready for natural disasters like tsunamis, earthquakes, and wildfires.

At 10:16 a.m. (local time) on 10/16, you can join people across Oregon practicing earthquake safety. While we encourage you to participate with everyone, you can register your ShakeOut drill for any day of the year, and drill at a time of your choice.
