Wildwood Falls

Park Description

Wildwood Falls County Park, located near Dorena, Oregon, offers scenic river access and a popular swimming spot along the Row River. A 15-foot waterfall cascades over basalt cliffs into a wide pool, surrounded by forest and natural rock features.

While there’s no formal parking lot, roadside pull-outs accommodate about 15 vehicles. The falls are also accessible from across the river at Lasell Stewart Park, but the Wildwood Falls side offers more direct access to the waterfall and a gravel bar that’s ideal for relaxing, picnicking, or wading on warm days.

Swimming is popular here, but visitors should be aware that the area near the falls and the chute above can have powerful currents. Exercise caution and stay within your comfort level—conditions can be more dangerous than they appear.

This quiet, off-the-beaten-path park remains a favorite for enjoying the water, taking in the falls and cooling off on a hot day.
