Waste Wise Lane County, in partnership with the city of Eugene and Action Rental-All & Events, offers durable dishware and water bottle refill stations to event producers that want to avoid disposable paper plates, plastic forks, plastic cups and other materials that end up in the trash. The Sustainable Events Services (SES) Program will deliver dishware cleaned and sanitized for your event and collect the dirty dishes after its conclusion—all for much less than the cost of purchasing disposable food service ware.
The SES Program allows your event to incorporate high-quality melamine bowls, plates, glasses, utensils. All dishware is microwave-safe, BPA-free, NSF-certified—and secure, sturdy, and stackable in various sizes.
Additionally, the program offers up to 10 basin-style water bottle refilling stations to reduce the use of plastic bottles.
WE MAKE IT EASY TO GET STARTED
The Sustainable Events Services Program is affordable, requires minimal staff training and can be implemented quickly.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. The team at Action Rental-All will work with your event to determine what dishware is a good fit for your food service needs and a delivery and collection schedule that works for your public event.
2. This program replaces disposable plates and utensils with durable and reusable plates, bowls, cups, silverware and provides water bottle refilling stations, all of which have been cleaned and sanitized to the highest standards. Event goers enjoy the food served on these reusable dishes by the event’s vendors as they would normally.
3. After eating, event goers return dishes at established bussing/drop-off stations that have been identified during the planning phase of your event.
4. Action Rental-All collects the dirty dishware from the drop off stations and transports them back to their industrial, state-of-the-art washing facility for washing and sterilization. They deliver dishes once daily to ensure you have a supply of clean reusables to start with each morning of your event.
