How Often are WIC Visits

Most families have a WIC visit once every three months. Some visits will include getting you and/or your child's height, weight and iron checked.  Other visits will be for nutrition classes.

Who Can Do WIC Business?

No one other than the first or second cardholder can conduct WIC business.

Each WIC family will be assigned an eWIC cardholder.  A family is eligible to have two cardholders both of whom can complete WIC business.

This includes: Attending appointments, scheduling appointments, attending classes and  shopping with eWIC.

First Cardholder
Must either be the woman participant or the parent or caretaker from the same household as the infant or child participant.

Second Cardholder
Does not have to be part of the same household as the first cardholder and participants.  There is no age, relationship, or other criteria or restrictions as to whom the first cardholder may select as their second cardholder.
